Did you know that the creative director of Zee TV did not think that Sushant Singh Rajput was the perfect choice for the character of Manav in the popular TV show Pavitra Rishta? However, the producer of the show Ekta Kapoor had a different school of thought. In her latest Instagram post, Ekta revealed that she convinced the creative director of the channel that Sushant would be the right choice for the character of Manav and that “her smile would win a million hearts”, and the rest belonged to the ‘history. As show Pavitra Rishta Tuesday 11 years old, Ekta shared a video of the show which also starred lead actress Ankita Lokhande and she wrote: “After being on 35 of the 50 slot machines, we were among the top 50! was a chance that Zee TV gave us in a show Thirumathi Selvam (a Tamil soap opera) Wanted to put a boy in mind who was second on our other show! The creator of Zee was adamant: he was not watching the part! We convinced them that his smile would win a million hearts and he did. “
Reacting to Ekta Kapoor’s message, Sushant and Ankita Lokhande thanked her in the comments section. “And I am eternally grateful to you, Madam,” wrote Sushant, while Ankita wrote: “Thank you, Ekta Ma’am, Archana (the name of her character in the series) aur Ankita ke liye. Sushant Singh Rajput dated her Pavitra Rishta co-star Ankita Lokhande for six years before their separation in 2016. Sushant entered Bollywood with the 2013 film Kai Po Che! He is best known for his performances in films like MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kedarnath, Chhichhore and Sonchiriya among others.
Ankita Lokhande made her Bollywood debut with Kangana Ranaut Manikarnika: the queen of Jhansi, in which she played the role of Jhalkari Bai. Before the movie was released in 2019, Sushant wished Ankita good luck and wrote on social media: “It looks absolutely awesome Ankita. I’m extremely happy to see that. God bless you very successfully and of happiness.” Ankita Lokhande is currently dating Vicky Jain, while Sushant is dating Mother dad Ki Maruti actress Rhea Chakraborty.
