On her parents Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s 24th wedding anniversary, Janhvi Kapoor won gold in his family photo archive and shared an invaluable photo of the duo. Boney Kapoor and Sridevi were married on June 2, 1996 and welcomed their daughter Janhvi the following year. Their youngest daughter Khushi was born in 2000. In the monochrome photo, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor can be seen happily posing for the camera. Needless to say, their million dollar smiles on the old photo stole the spotlight on the Internet. Sridevi died on February 22, 2018 by accidentally drowning in a hotel bathtub in Dubai, where she attended the wedding celebrations of the nephew Mohit Marwah. His last film was MUM. She also appeared in a cameo role later in Shah Rukh Khan Zero.
On the anniversary of Sridevi’s death earlier this year, Janhvi shared a touching article and made us all emotional. She posted a photo back of herself and her mother from her childhood and remembered Sridevi with these words: “I miss you everyday.”
Later in Mother’s Day, the Dhadak the actress posted a nice photo back with a heart emoji. On the old photo, we can see Sridevi holding little Janhvi in his arms.
Janhvi Kapoor made her Bollywood debut with the 2018 film Dhadak. She was last seen on Netflix Ghost stories, in the segment directed by Zoya Akhtar. The actress will also be seen in the period drama of Karan Johar Takht, horror comedy Roohi Afza (in which she will be co-star with Rajkummar Rao), Dharma Productions’ Dostana 2, with Kartik Aaryan and in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil girl.
