Just a day after the death of the music composer Wajid khan – the famous duo of composers Sajid-Wajid, their mother Razina Khan tested positive for the coronavirus and she was admitted to the Surana hospital in Mumbai in Chembur, where the late music composer was also undergoing treatment, reported l press agency PTI. A source close to the family said, “She has been tested positive. She is fine and will stay in hospital for a few more days until her test is negative.” Wajid Khan died at the age of 42 from complications from a kidney infection. His last rites were performed on Monday in the Versova cemetery in the presence of family members, including his wife and brother Sajid Khan, and Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi.
On Monday, Twitter was overwhelmed by the tributes of many members of the film’s fraternity, including Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan, among others. Wajid Khan’s longtime collaborator Salman Khan, in his praise of the music composer, wrote: “Wajid, will always love you, respect you, will remember you and will miss you as a person and your talent. Love yourself and may your beautiful soul rest in peace.”

Music composer Salim Merchant has confirmed the news of The death of Wajid Khan at the PTI news agency on Monday. He said, “He had several problems. He had a kidney problem and had a transplant some time ago. But recently he learned of a kidney infection … He had been on a ventilator for four days , after his situation started to get worse. The kidney infection was the beginning, then it became critical. “
Sajid and Wajid Khan entered the Indian music industry in 1998. They created music for Salman Khan. Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya and they continued to compose songs for the actor in the Dabangg series, Partner, just to name a few. Wajid Khan recently co-composed the songs of Salman Pyaar Karona and Bhai bhai. As a playback singer, Wajid Khan sang songs such as Mera He Jalwa, Fevicol Se, Chinta Ta Chita Chita and Mashallah, to name a few.
