NDA, NA exam on September 6. UPSC Announces Details

Instead of two exams, there will be only one entrance exam for the National Defense Academy and the Naval Academy this year. The exam will take place on September 6. In this exam, candidates who have applied for both exams will appear together.
Admission to the wings of the Army, Navy and Air Force of the NDA and the Indian Naval Academy course is through an examination which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC ). The exam takes place twice a year.
“A joint exam for the NDA and NA (I) and NDA and NA (II), 2020 exams will take place on 06.09.2020,” said the UPSC.
For 2020, the notification of the first review was published on January 8 and the review was scheduled to take place on April 19. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the review has been postponed.
The UPSC announced today that it will only conduct one exam this year for selection to the National Defense Academy and the Naval Academy.
The exam will take place after the completion of the application process for the second NDA, NA exam. The second notification will be published on June 10 and the application portal will be active until June 30.
The UPSC also announced the date for the preliminary review of civil services. The exam will take place on October 4 and the main exam will take place in January 2021.
