Jaysingrao Gaikwad Patil sent his resignation letter to the Chairman of Maharashtra BJP, Chandrakant Patil.

Aurangabad:

Former Union Minister and top BJP leader Jaysingrao Gaikwad Patil resigned from the party on Tuesday.

He sent his resignation letter to Maharashtra President BJP Chandrakant Patil in the morning.

“I am ready to work for the party, but the party is not giving me a chance, that’s why I took this step,” Gaikwad Patil, who lives in Aurangabad, said on the phone.

In his letter to Chandrakant Patil, he said he was resigning from the BJP state unit and also from key party members.

The veteran chief said he had previously served as minister at the Center as well as in Maharashtra.

“I don’t want to be an MP or a member of the Legislative Assembly now. I wish to work to strengthen the party and I ask for such a responsibility for a decade. But still, the party has not given me a chance,” he said. he assures.

“The party does not want those who have made efforts to elevate the party in the state,” he added.

When contacted, BJP president Chandrakant Patil declined to comment on the matter.
