New Delhi:
For the recruitment of POs, IBPS has scheduled the pre-examination training (PET) in September. However, the Bank Personnel Selection Institute (IBPS) mentioned in the job notification that it will only provide training if it is safe and possible to conduct it. He also said, “due to the COVID-19 pandemic, for the safety of candidates, the PET during this period cannot be detained.”
The preliminary examination for the recruitment of PO IBPS will take place on October 3, 10 and 11. Candidates who qualify for the preliminary exam will take the main exam to be held in November.
Before the preliminary examination, the IBPS trains a limited number of candidates belonging to the listed castes / listed tribes / minority communities in certain centers. This training lasts one week and begins once the application submission process is complete.
This pre-exam training is offered free of charge, but applicants organize their own accommodation and other expenses.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it could be difficult for applicants to arrange accommodation for training.
Meanwhile, IBPS has not closed this option in the application form. Candidates who wish to take the pre-exam training can mention this in the application form as the status of the training remains provisional.
The last date for submitting applications for IBPS PO 2020 recruitment is August 26.
The IBPS postponed the preliminary screening for the selection of officers and office assistants in regional rural banks (RRBs). The review that was supposed to start in August has now been postponed to September.
