The warrant was against NDA, the RJD said.

Patna:

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has decided not to attend the swearing-in ceremony of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Bihar Chief Minister Designate Nitish Kumar to be held in Patna today.

The RJD said it was boycotting the event because the warrant was against the NDA.

In a tweet posted in Hindi, the party, among others, said: “The people’s mandate has been turned into a government order. Ask the unemployed, farmers, contract workers and employed teachers in Bihar what is happening with it. them. The public is agitated by the fraud of the NDA. We are the representatives of the public and are with them. “

In another tweet digging up the JDU and BJP, the RJD said two defenseless entities formed a government in Bihar today: one helpless because it is weak and corrupt, the other because she is faceless.

Mr Yadav had previously alleged irregularities in the Bihar assembly elections held a few days ago and demanded a recount of the postal votes in all constituencies where they were counted at the end.

Mr Kumar, meanwhile, is set to be sworn in as senior minister for the fourth consecutive term today after a hotly contested election, mainly against the RJD-led Mahagathbadhan.

The NDA won a majority of 125 seats in the 243-seat Bihar Legislative Assembly, of which the BJP won 74 seats, the JD (U) 43 and eight in total by two other NDA voters. The RJD, on the other hand, became the largest party with 75 seats while Congress won only 19 of the 70 seats it contested.

Party leaders in the NDA legislature met on Sunday to appoint him as alliance leader in the assembly, paving the way for his return as chief minister.
