Actress Rhea Chakraborty, a friend of Sushant Singh Rajput, was photographed Monday at Cooper Hospital in Mumbai where the actor was taken after being found dead at his home on Sunday. Rajput, 34, dies by suicide, police say. No suicide note has been found and an investigation is underway, according to the PTI news agency. The ANI news agency reports that 27-year-old Ms. Chakraborty will be questioned by the police as part of the investigation. The funeral of Sushant Singh Rajput will take place later today – his father arrived today for the final rites of Patna, where the actor grew up.

Rhea Chakraborty, star of films such as Mother dad Ki Maruti and Jalebiand Sushant Singh Rajput were close friends. For his birthday in January, she shared this post on Instagram, calling it “The most beautiful supermassive black hole known to mankind” – Mr. Rajput was a passionate amateur astronomer and science enthusiast, filling his own Instagram feed with messages on the planets and the cosmos.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead Sunday at his Mumbai residence and taken to Cooper Hospital where an autopsy was performed. His death sparked a massive wave of mourning tributes from the film industry and a mental health talk. Among those who shared messages about the actor, there is producer Ekta Kapoor who cast him in his first TV show and Abhishek Kapoor, who directed Mr. Rajput in his first film Kai Po Che! and Kedarnath.
Sushant Singh Rajput became famous on the soap opera Pavitra Rishta, produced by Ekta Kapoor. Except Kai Po Che! and Kedarnath, Mr. Rajput played in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Sonchiriya, Chhichhore and other films. He also had a well received supporting role in Aamir Khan PK. Mr. Rajput’s latest project was the 2019 Netflix release Drive.
