Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput ‘KK Singh’s father is not on Twitter, a source close to the family said on Saturday in response to media reports saying he had requested an investigation by the CBI into the death of the actor in a message posted on the social media platform, reported the PTI news agency. Mr. Rajput, 34, best known for films like Kai Po Che!, MS Dhoni: the untold story and Chhichhore, died June 14 at his residence in Bandra. “He (Singh) flatly denied the existence of such an account and urged those behind such things not to create confusion in public,” the family source told PTI.
The source added that the family released no statement regarding Sushant Singh Rajput after June 27 in which they announced initiatives to support budding film, sports and science talent.
The family also did not give any media interviews or share messages on social media.
According to reports, KK Singh has posted on Twitter that the death of his actor son is murder and some people are trying to plan it as suicide.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s latest film Dil Bechara will be released on the Disney + Hotstar streaming platform on July 24.
