A family of three is described as a “COVID-19” super spreader in the Rayagada district of Odisha because it is believed to be the cause of infection in 87 people in a village, a senior official said Friday.

The three family members were first tested positive for COVID-19, and during the contact search, 13 villagers were also tested positive for the deadly virus, said Rayagada district collector Pramod Kumar Behera .
74 other villagers have tested positive since Thursday. With that, a total of 90 people – including the three family members – from Bijaypur tested positive, he said.
