New Delhi:

Sonu Sood and his team, who organized buses and trains to safely send migrants to their hometowns in various regions of the country, recently distributed food to 28,000 people along the coasts of Mumbai and transferred to several schools and colleges, before the cyclone. Nisarga hit the coast of Maharashtra on Wednesday. In a statement reported by the PTI news agency, Sonu Sood said: “Today we are all facing difficult times and the best way to combat this is to be the strongest support system in the other. My team and I have distributed food to more than 28,000 people in the coastal areas of Mumbai and rehabilitated them in various schools and colleges. We are making sure everyone is safe. ” also added that 200 Assamese migrants, stranded in Mumbai due to cyclone Nisarga, have been transferred to shelters.

Cyclone Nisarga, which made landfall near Alibaug in the Raigad district, just 95 kilometers from Mumbai, has killed three people so far. The Indian meteorological department said in a statement, “There has been a slight change of direction to the northeast, which means that the impact of the cyclone on Mumbai has been less severe than expected.” Cyclone Nisarga is the second cyclone in two weeks to hit India’s coastal regions, after Cyclone Amphan swept through Odisha and West Bengal last month, severely affecting both states.

Let’s go back to Sonu Sood. Sonu Sood was tagged in a Twitter meme on Wednesday that featured a photo of him and had the text – “Sonu Sood is waiting for Cyclone Nisarga so he can send him home”. The actor responded to the meme by saying, “Isko bhi chhor kar aata hun (Let me send this house back too). “

Sonu Sood was hailed as a hero on Twitter for arranging to reunite stranded workers with their locked out families. The actor recently organized a flight for 177 stranded women to return from Kochi to Bhubaneshwar.
