Dil Bechara inspired by John Green’s book The fault in our stars, which was also adapted from a Hollywood film of the same name, starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort in the lead roles. The film was directed by casting director Mukesh Chhabra, who made his debut as a director with the film. Dil Bechara also stars Saif Ali Khan in a cameo appearance and the film’s music was composed by AR Rahman.

The film should be released on Disney + Hotstar on July 24 and it will be accessible to subscribers as well as to non-subscribers of the streaming platform.
