New Delhi:

A Rohini court judge tested positive for COVID-19 and went into quarantine, according to the president of the Rohini Bar Association on Tuesday.

Rohini Bar Association president Mahavir Singh Sharma told ANI that the judge’s wife had previously been infected with COVID-19.

“Both have quarantined themselves,” said Mahavir Singh Sharma.

He also added that the Rohini Court complex followed all the necessary protocols.

Delhi saw 1,298 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases in the national capital to 22,132.

Eleven deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours.

“No less than 1,298 new cases of coronavirus and 11 deaths have been reported in Delhi, which brings the total number in the national capital to 22,132 and the death toll is 556,” the ministry said.

To date, 9,243 people have recovered from the infection. A total of 497 patients have been released today.

The department also indicated that the national capital has 12,573 active files.
