Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday targeted the government on rising prices and unemployment, and asked whether it was development or destruction.
He also said that the morale of the population was declining.
“Banks are in trouble, and so is GDP. Inflation has never been higher, and neither is unemployment. Public morale is collapsing and social justice is crushed every day. Development or destruction?” he asked in a Hindi tweet.
Mr. Gandhi has targeted the government on various issues including declining GDP and the state of the economy.
The Congress Party has also accused the Modi government of “destroying the economy” with its policies.
