Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his condolences to the families of those killed by the heavy rains and the landslide that followed in Arunachal Pradesh on Friday and added that assistance is being provided to all those in the need.
“Afflicted by the loss of life due to the heavy rains and landslides in Arunachal Pradesh. My thoughts are with the bereaved families. May the injured recover quickly. All possible help is provided to those affected” , Prime Minister Modi’s tweet said.
Landslides, triggered by incessant rain, have claimed at least eight lives in two separate incidents in Arunachal Pradesh on Friday.
