PM Narendra Modi, a biopic on the Prime Minister starring Vivek Oberoi in the lead role, will be re-released in theaters on October 15. It will be the first film to hit theaters after the lockdown. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting gave its green signal to reopen threats from this Thursday after a long hiatus due to the pandemic. They have also published Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that must be followed by movie theaters before restarting their business. PM Narendra Modi was originally published in May of last year. Announcing the biopic’s re-release date, producer Sandip Ssingh wrote, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been the best prime minister in the country, which was proven in the 2019 election. What could be better than looking at history inspiration from the most inspiring leader of the present day, as theaters reopen. “
“I am proud to be a part of this historic moment! Also, due to certain political agendas, when it was last released the film could not be watched by many. We hope the film has a new lease on life in movie theaters and is an excellent watch for the people of the nation, ”he added.
PM Narendra Modi maps the rise and rise of Narendra Modi in Indian politics. The film shows Narendra Modi’s journey from his early days in the RSS to his ascent as Chief Minister of Gujarat and finally as Prime Minister of India.
Directed by Omung Kumar, the biopic did not perform well at the box office last year. GalacticGaming’s Rohit Khilnani in his blog about the film wrote, “This is a frivolous attempt to profit from the popularity of the Prime Minister.”
