Happy Birthday, Rekha! The evergreen Bollywood beauty turned 66 on Saturday and on occasion she Jaan Hatheli Pe co-star Hema Malini wrapped her birthday wish in the form of several rare images and a sweet note. Rekha and Hema Malini have starred in films such as Apne Apne (1987), Jaan Hatheli Pe (1987) and Kahte Hain Mujhko Raja (1975). In her birthday note, Hema Malini describes Rekha as her “good friend” and writes: “Today we wish my dear Rekha a happy birthday. a beautiful day and a dear friend year! “

Besides the aforementioned photos, Hema Malini and Rekha worked together in the 1975 Feroz Khan film Dharmatma, in Dev Anand’s 2001 film Censor, The 1972 film by Naresh Kumar Gora Aur Kala and the 2010 film by Raj Kanwar Sadiyaan. Rekha also made an appearance in Hema’s 1977 film. Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein. The duo have often been photographed on each other’s birthdays.
