Vikas Dubey was killed in a meeting with Uttar Pradesh police after “trying to flee”

“The Uttar Pradesh administration has done the right thing by taking action against my son,” said weak old Ram Kumar Dubey, father of gangster Vikas Dubey.
The father said that his son killed eight police officers and that it was an unforgivable sin.
“If he had listened to us, his life would not have ended this way. Vikas never helped us. Because of him, even our ancestral possessions were razed. He also killed eight police officers, which is an unforgivable sin. The administration did the right thing. If they had not done so tomorrow, others would have done the same, “Ram Kumar told ANI.
“It is the duty of the chief minister to protect each individual. The police are an extension of it. He attacked them, which cannot be forgiven. I will not even participate in his cremation,” he added. .
Ram Kumar Dubey said his only call to the government was to allow him to enter his ancestral property now.
Vikas Dubey was cremated at Bhairav Ghat in Kanpur. His wife, younger son and brother-in-law were present and no other family member attended the final rites.
Vikas Dubey was arrested by police in Ujjain on Thursday morning. He had been on the run for six days and had come to town to pray at a temple, where he was identified by a security guard.
He was killed during a meeting with Uttar Pradesh police earlier today after “trying to flee”.
The gangster was the main accused in the meeting which took place last week in the village of Bikru, in the Chaubeypur region, in Kanpur, during which a group of assailants opened fire on a police team which had gone to arrest him.
Eight police officers were killed during the meeting.
Vikas Dubey managed to escape after the incident. Uttar Pradesh police launched a hunt and raised a bounty on him for 5 lakh rupees.
