Regarding its recent recruitment tests, which have been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Personnel Selection Commission (CSV) will make a decision after June 1. recruiting for the current year.
Among the best examinations conducted by the SSC are the Combined Upper Level Examination (CGL) and the Combined Upper Secondary Level Examination (CHSL).
Selection for these exams is done through written tests and skill tests held at successive levels. At each level or level, a group of candidates is preselected and selected to stand for the next round.
Currently, the 2018 SSC CHSL recruitment test has been suspended. The SSC will resume testing once the COVID-19 situation is normal in the country.
The registration process for SSC CHSL 2019 is complete and a total of 4,893 vacant positions will be filled through this exam. The 2019 SSC CHSL test was scheduled to take place from March 16 to 27.
The CHSL 2020 notification is expected to be released in November, in accordance with the PVC exam schedule.
SPC could publish the CGL 2020 notification in September.
The 2019 CGL exam was scheduled for March 2 to 11 and was then postponed.
The result of the SSC CGL 2018 level 3 exam is pending.
The SSC had anticipated that its first recruitment this year would begin in April.
The junior engineer and stenographer test is also pending.
SPC is also carrying out a selection test for recruitment to various positions in group B and group C. It notified one of these recruitments in January-February of this year. The exam is scheduled for June 10 to 12.
PVC publishes each year an examination calendar in which it gives details on the date of application and the date of examination. Lakhs of aspiring candidates follow the exam calendar for their preparation. Given the current situation and the number of exams pending, it can be expected that SSC will revise its exam schedule.
