The Karnataka government will build a new guesthouse in Tirumala in Andhra Pradesh with an investment of Rs 200 crore, a statement said.

The state revenue department said Monday that the cabinet had previously approved the Rs 26 crore project in July of last year. The guest house complex planned for last year at Karnataka State Choultry would have consisted of 70 rooms, accommodating approximately 150 pilgrims on 58,741.20 square feet of land.

The construction project now covers a total area of ​​322,545 square feet (or 7.05 acres).
