TS Tirumurti said Imran Khan’s statement was “a new diplomatic hollow”.

New York:

The Indian delegate to the United Nations General Assembly session withdrew when Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan began his speech in which he made comments on India’s internal affairs.

India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations TS Tirumurti said Khan’s statement was “a new diplomatic hollow”.

He said Khan’s speech was another “litany of vicious lies, personal attacks, warmongering and obscuring Pakistan’s persecution of its own minorities and cross-border terrorism.”

Mr. Tirumurti said India would give an appropriate response in its right of reply.

“Pakistan’s Prime Minister declares a new diplomatic low – at the 75th United Nations General Assembly. Another litany of vicious lies, personal attacks, warmongering and obscuring Pakistan’s persecution of its own minorities and of its cross-border terrorism. Adequate right of reply awaits, “Tirumurti said in a tweet.
