India’s coronavirus tally has crossed the 81 lakh mark.
India reported a daily jump of 48,268 coronavirus infections in 24 hours, exceeding the 81 lakh mark, data from the Ministry of Health showed this morning. The number of cases in the country now stands at 81,37,119. During the 24-hour period, India, which is the second-worst-hit country, reported 551 virus-related deaths, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,21,641. The national recovery rate crossed 91% , the death rate remains at 1.49%.
