The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will announce the date of the preliminary public service review on June 5. The review was scheduled to take place on May 31 but was postponed due to the lockdown imposed to contain the spread of COVID-19. .
The UPSC conducts examinations and recommends candidates for appointment to various civilian services such as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), the Indian Police Service (IPS), etc.
The UPSC provides study materials for exams it conducts, such as questionnaires and answer keys from previous years. These resources are available on the official UPSC website.

It also releases model question cum answer booklet so that candidates can familiarize themselves with the style of the question paper before taking the exam.
Questionnaires from previous years are available all year round.
Each year, more than 10 lakh candidates register for the preliminary examination of civil services, which is a selection test for the main or final examination.
Applicants who have registered for the Civil Service exam this year should use their time during this COVID-19 lockout and prepare well for the exam.
UPSC will issue the exam admission card three weeks before the exam date.
