Actor Kangana Ranaut, who is currently at home in his hometown of Manali, reported “suspicious noise” at around 11:30 pm Friday evening, police said on Saturday. However, the actor claimed to have heard gunshots.
A police team was deployed near his residence after the incident, Himachal Pradesh police said.
“Yesterday at around 11:30 p.m., the Manali police station received a call from Kangana Ranaut’s residence and said they heard suspicious noises in the area. With that, a police team rushed to the scene and said Searched the entire area and CCTV footage, but no anti-social activity was found in the area, ”Raj Kumar Chandel, Kullu’s additional police superintendent, told ANI.
Mr Chandel said security was tightened near his residence after the incident.
