On Wednesday, a family of six was found dead at their home in the Balangir neighborhood of Odisha. Police chief Sandeep Madkar said a couple and their four children were murdered with a sharp object.
The victims were identified as Bullu Jaani, his wife Jyoti and their four children.
“Today morning, the neighbors found the bodies in their house and called the police, who rushed to the scene with a forensic team. At first glance, it appears the family was murdered. team has been formed to investigate the murder, ”Mr. Madkar said.
A senior police official, Manoj Mishra, will lead the special investigation team.
