New Delhi:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday criticized family parties saying they were the biggest threat to democracy and said even a national party had fallen prey.

Addressing party workers at a congratulatory ceremony after the BJP’s victory in Bihar’s elections and in various bypasses, he claimed that the only mantra for his party’s victory was “Sabka saath, sabka vikas and sabka vishwas “.

Prime Minister Modi said the results of the Bihar poll and other farewell elections across the country have made it clear that people will now only support those who honestly work for development.

“People have decided that only development will be the basis of national policy in the 21st century,” he said.

Prime Minister Modi also said those who cannot democratically fight the BJP have resorted to murdering party workers.

“This murder game cannot work in a democracy,” he said.

Praising the people of the country for resting their confidence in the BJP, the Prime Minister also thanked and congratulated the Election Commission, the security forces and the administration for the peaceful and successful conduct of the elections.

These poll results widened Lok Sabha’s election result, the prime minister said, referring to the BJP’s success in polls and polls across the country.

“The BJP is the only national party in which the poor, the Dalits, the destitute see their representation; only the BJP understands the need of each section, region. The survey results endorsed how we approached the COVID-19 pandemic, ”he said.

Prime Minister Modi also said that women across the country are the “silent voters” who support the BJP in all rural and urban areas.

In a festival atmosphere with the crowd chanting ‘Modi hai to mumkin hai (PM Modi can make it possible), BJP chairman JP Nadda said earlier at the event that the people of Bihar had put their seal of approval on PM Modi’s work to address COVID-19 and help the poor during the pandemic.
