US President Donald Trump on Monday denounced “another vile act of terrorism” after gunmen engaged in a deadly shootout in central Vienna.
“The United States stands with Austria, France and all of Europe in the fight against terrorists, including radical Islamic terrorists,” Trump tweeted in response to attacks that have claimed at least two dead.
“These vicious attacks on innocent people must stop,” he wrote.
The perpetrators of the Vienna bombings have not yet been identified, but the shootings follow a series of Islamist attacks in France that have crushed the nation.
