Yogi Adityanath asked the authorities to put special emphasis on improving the COVID-19 treatment facilities.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asked authorities on Monday to place special emphasis on improving COVID-19 treatment facilities in the state’s districts that are part of the national capital (RCN).

In a meeting with senior officials, the chief minister stressed “continued vigilance” in districts like Gautam Buddh nagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Baghpat, Hapur and Bulandshahar, according to an official statement published here.

The districts have recorded a high number of cases of coronavirus.

Officials were responsible for ensuring that COVID-19 hospitals in the NCR districts have adequate beds and doctors for patients, the statement said.

The Chief Minister said that the real meaning of unlocking was discipline and that you had to be vigilant to break the chain of infection.

Stressing the importance of dialogue at all levels to further improve arrangements in COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 hospitals, the Chief Minister asked officials to continue to interact with senior administrative officials and deployed medical specialists in 11 districts of the state. .

He also stressed that dialogue should also take place with deputy ministers and commissioners regularly to improve the arrangements, the statement said.

Yogi Adityanath further asked the officials to ensure that adequate oxygen is available in hospitals and also to prepare a backup for the same. He said that prompt treatment is helpful in controlling the death rate.

He also ordered officials to obtain an investigation conducted in industrial units to explore employment opportunities in the state.

So far, 57.12 lakh workers have found work under the MNREGS in the highest state in the country, the statement said.
