Bhopal:

At least six people in Raj Bhawan in Madhya Pradesh, including some subordinate staff and their families living in the employees’ quarters inside the premises, tested positive for the coronavirus on Wednesday, the department said. State health.

Of the 700 test reports released on Wednesday, 20 were positive, six of which live in the employee quarters in Raj Bhawan’s large premises.

All employee quarters, where residents tested positive for the deadly virus, were declared COVID-19 epicenters and the surrounding areas of the Raj Bhawan campus were declared containment.

The governor of Madhya Pradesh, Lalji Tandon, however, continues to stay at Raj Bhawan, his official residence.

Madhya Pradesh has so far reported more than 7,000 cases of coronavirus with 305 deaths.
