On Wednesday’s episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 12, Amitabh Bachchan resumed play with competitor Jai Kurukshetra. Mr. Bachchan, who always urges applicants to talk about their backgrounds and memorable life experiences, took a trip down memory lane during this episode. Speaking to Jai Kurukshetra, Mr. Bachchan recounted an incident from his school days that is etched in his mind to this day. The 77-year-old actor said that during his school years he asked his mother Teji Bachchan for a few Rs 2 to join the school’s cricket team. Big B remembers being told they didn’t have the money. On that note, Mr Bachchan added remembering that this incident always kept him anchored later in life. “Rs 2 ka mulya kya hai woh aaj hume yaad ata hai,” he said.
Amitabh Bachchan also revealed that he loved photography and always wanted to own a camera. Mr Bachchan’s father Harivansh Rai Bachchan brought him his first camera from a trip to Russia – Big B was already an actor at that time, but receiving his father’s camera made him a precious possession and he owns it to this day. “The value of these things stays with us all of our lives.”
Jai Kurukshetra left the show with a cash prize of Rs 12.5 lakh. Maharashtra Police Officer Jaswinder Singh was the second contestant in Wednesday’s episode Kaun Banega Crorepati 12.
