Mumbai Police provided security outside the home of superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan in Mumbai as a precaution, a day after Ms Bachchan spoke emphatically in parliament over what she described as attempts defamation of the film industry with drug addiction allegations related to Sushant Singh. Hitting Ravi Kishan’s allegations, the Sena said in an op-ed in his party spokesperson ”Saamana“Those who make such claims are hypocrites and their statements feel the double standard.”

“A doping test should be carried out on those who claim that all artists and technicians in the film industry are under the influence of drugs,” the party said.
