Actor Pratik Gandhi on Sunday said that with his wife, actress Bhamini Oza and brother Punit, the COVID-19 test was positive. The actor has appeared in successful Gujarati movies such as Bey Yaar, Wrong side Raju, Love Ni Bhavai and has performed in projects in Hindi, including Mitron and produced by Salman Khan Loveyatri. In a message on Twitter, Pratik said that while he and Bhamini were quarantined at their home, his brother was hospitalized. “We, as a family, took ‘the positive’ far too seriously and did not discriminate, even corona. My wife and I are treated at home and my brother is hospitalized. Warmth, support and prayers friends and family, “he tweeted.

In response to a friend’s tweet, Pratik Gandhi thanked BJP chief Kirit Somaiya for his timely intervention and expressed appreciation for the help. “I cannot thank you enough Madhavi Bhuta and Kirit Somaiya for your timely support and warmth during this testing period for the family,” wrote the actor.

Kirit Somaiya said he had been in contact with doctors who assured him that Punit “will recover”. The actor will then be seen in the director’s series Hansal Mehta Scam 1992. The director went to Instagram to wish Pratik a speedy recovery. “Heal soon, champion. Beat the virus with your positivity,” wrote Hansal Mehta.

On Saturday, the COVID-19 count from Maharashtra crossed the three lakh mark with the addition of 8,348 cases.
