Actor Kiran Kumar, who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on May 14, has recovered – the 74-year-old actor was tested negative in his third test, the PTI news agency reported on Wednesday. Mr. Kumar, who entered home quarantine immediately after his diagnosis, revealed that his family members were still isolated as a precaution. “My family still follows strict isolation at home. I was completely asymptomatic and apart from the boredom that accompanies isolation, I had no other complaints.” Kiran Kumar had quarantined himself on the third floor of his residence with family members on the second floor. In his statement, Mr. Kumar added: “I continue to take advantage of this forced downtime as an opportunity to introspect and focus on the little pleasures of life,” PTI reported.

Kiran Kumar previously told PTI that he went to a Mumbai hospital for a routine exam earlier this month and that he tested positive for COVID-19, although it is asymptomatic. “I am asymptomatic. On May 14, I went to the hospital for a medical examination, where the COVID-19 test was mandatory. So I got tested and the result was positive but I had no symptoms at that time, and I have no fever, no cough, I’m fine and I quarantined myself at home, “he told PTI.

After his recovery, Kiran Kumar also thanked the doctors at Hinduja Healthcare Hospital and Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai for their service: “The amazing doctors in Hinduja (Khar) and Lilavati provided us with enough information to prevent the panic did not set in.
