New Delhi:

The title track of Dil Bechara perfectly describes the title of the film, courtesy of Sushant Singh Rajput’s brilliant one-shot performance. Sushant’s Dil Bechara co-star Sanjana Sanghi dropped the Dil Bechara Friday, making us fall in love with Sushant. Dil Bechara Sanjana stars like Kizie Basu and Sushant like Manny, whose magical love story has a tragic end – Kizie has cancer. The trailer reveals that Manny, with her adorable antics, lights up Kizie’s cranky life, and the title song is a glimpse of Manny’s contagious energy. While sharing Dil Bechara title title, Sanjana tweeted: “Manny has made his way into Kizie’s life with all his heart and a quick mind … Listen, love, let the magic take its turn.”

The song begins by starring Manny in what appears to be a college performance. Manny, who seems to have been zoned with friends, dances to the rhythm of his heart and sings his emotions with adoration. Kizie has only a very small role to play in Manny’s performance as he randomly grooves with her in the audience. The song ends with a million dollar smile from Sushant, which will steal your heart.

What makes Dil Bechara all the more special song is the dreamy voice of AR Rahman. Watch the song here:

In an Instagram post, Farah Khan, who choreographed Sushant in the Dil Bechara song, revealed that the actor filmed it in one shot: “This song is particularly close to me because it was the first time I choreographed Sushant … we were friends for a long time but never worked together … I also promised Mukesh Chhabra that when he made his directorial debut, I would make a song for him … I wanted the song to be made like a one-time song because I knew Sushant would be able to do it perfectly. “

Dil Bechara, which marks the debut of casting director Mukesh Chhabra, is an on-screen adaptation of John Green’s book The fault in our stars, which was also made into a Hollywood movie.

Dil Bechara will air on Disney + Hotstar on July 24 for subscribers and non-subscribers.
