Ayodhya:
Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath will visit the Ram Janmabhoomi site in Ayodhya on Sunday afternoon and inspect the temple construction, officials said.
The chief minister will also inspect the progress of development work underway in different parts of Ayodhya, they said.
“The CM will travel to Ayodhya Sunday afternoon. It will inspect non-COVID hospitals, as well as construction work on development plans at various locations in Ayodhya,” district magistrate Anuj Kumar Jha told PTI.
“He will also visit the Ram Janmabhoomi site and a few other temples during his visit,” he added.
This will be Yogi Adityanath’s second visit to Ram Janmabhoomi’s site since the implementation of the lock triggered by COVID. The chief minister will also visit Hanuman Garhi temple, officials said.
He had last visited the site on March 25 when the Ram Lalla idol was moved to a new temporary structure. The CM also donated 11 lakh rupees personally for the construction of the Temple of Ram.
Yogi Adityanath will arrive in Ayodhya by plane around 11:45 am and will leave for Lucknow after the visit. He is also likely to meet with BJP leaders.
