This day, seven years ago, was the first day of filming the Baahubali series, the two-part magnum opus by director SS Rajamouli, who became one of the biggest film series in the history of Indian cinema and the blurred boundaries of southern cinema and Bollywood like never before. The official Twitter nickname of Baahubali film, shared footage from the first day on film sets, which shows Prabhas (who played the eponymous character) was greeted by an overwhelming crowd. The team wrote: “July 6, 2013. The moment it all started! We started shooting Baahubali on this day 7 years ago. “
