Sushmita Sen has made a comeback with the web-show Aarya, which started broadcasting on Zee 5 on June 19, and she can’t be satisfied with the wonderful time she spent on set. Directed by Ram Madhvani, Aarya is the story of the transformation of the titular character (played by Sushmita) from a housewife to a fierce mother who gets involved in the troubled affairs of her husband. Aarya, an emotional potboiler in part, also had some emotionally sensitive moments on set, which Sushmita Sen shared in a recent post on Instagram. Share a moment behind the scenes of Aarya together, Sushmita wrote: “Tears continue to flow even when the camera stops!”
In the video, Sushmita can be seen filming an emotionally heavy scene, in which Aarya collapses after feeling betrayed by her loved one. What makes the video special, however, is that it captures tears running down Sushmita’s face even after filming ends. Sharing the video, the 44-year-old actress wrote: “One of the most important moments in the Aarya. “Heartbreaking realization of betrayal” One of my favorite scenes brilliantly interpreted by “Maa” Sohaila Kapur. Such is the intensity of the shooting process of Ram Madhvani that even after a “cut” I continued to cry … still embarrassed by his grateful hug! Energy does not lie! Share precious moments. Sushmita Sen co-stars with an ensemble cast including Chandrachur Singh, Sikander Kher, Namit Das, Vikas Kumar, Jayant Kripalani among others in Aarya. Aarya marks the return of Sushmita Sen after five years. She was last seen in the 2015 Bengali film Nirbaak.
