New Delhi:
Voting began in 94 Bihar assembly constituencies today in the second phase of elections that will decide the electoral fate of the RJD leader and Mahagathbandhan chief minister against Tejashwi Yadav and more than 1,450 other candidates.
The survey began at 7 a.m., but the time for its conclusion was extended by one hour until 6 p.m. to allow COVID-19 patients and those with symptoms of the disease to exercise their deductible in the last hour.
However, voting will end early in areas affected by naxal. Voting takes place simultaneously for the ballot seat of Valmiki Nagar Lok Sabha, which was necessitated by the death of MP JD (U) Baidyanath Mahto.
Here are the live updates for the 2020 Bihar Assembly election:
Voting for the second phase of BiharPolls will take place today across 94 seats in 17 districts.
You can get me to tell you in writing that Nitish Kumar will never be the Chief Minister again after November 10th. I will have no role to play, I want “Bihar first, Bihari first”. I want the work to be done according to the vision document prepared by the suggestions of 4 Lakh Biharis: Chirag Paswan, LJP.
It will be clear, the first phase has already given an indication: the head of RJD Tejashwi Yadav when asked who will be the CM of Bihar#BiharPollshttps://t.co/2MC4fDYE7z
