Moscow, Russia:

The head of the lower house of the Russian parliament on Thursday accused main opposition leader Alexei Navalny of working for the Western security services and said President Vladimir Putin saved his life.

State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin says Putin ‘saved’ Navalny’s life after anti-corruption activist was poisoned by what Germany says is a nerve agent, and accused Kremlin critic to “work with the security services and authorities of Western countries”.
