Vice President Venkaiah Naidu paid tribute to Jawaharlal Nehru on his 131st birthday

Vice President Mr. Venkaiah Naidu today paid tribute to the country’s first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru on his birthday, saying he will always be remembered for his contribution to building a modern India.
Vice President Naidu also praised Children’s Day, celebrated on the occasion of Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday, as a tribute to his contribution to the nation’s development and his love for children.
Jawaharlal Nehru was born on this day in 1889.
“My tributes to the former Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, on his birthday today. He will always be remembered for his contribution to building a modern India, ”tweeted the Vice-President of the Secretariat, quoting Venkaiah Naidu.
Vice President Naidu, in another tweet, said children are the future of the country and should be fed with love and care.
“The values of honesty, integrity, respect for elders as well as the importance of Indian culture and harmonious coexistence with nature should be instilled in children from the start,” he said.
