Twitter verified US President Donald Trump for the first time on Tuesday regarding his allegations regarding the postal ballots, as part of what he said was an extension of a “misleading information policy” aimed at fight against disinformation about COVID-19.
Trump lambasted Twitter in response and said he would introduce legislation that could remove or weaken a law that protects social media companies from liability for content posted by their users.
