The Interior Ministry said on Tuesday that a fake tweet was being broadcast on behalf of Interior Minister Amit Shah on the Internet and moving sidewalks in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
The false tweet said that fixed broadband and the Internet in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will be stopped.
“A tweet is circulating on behalf of the Minister of the Interior, stating that fixed broadband and the Internet in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh must be captured. This tweet is false. The spokesperson tweeted.
The tweet read, “Broadband and landline mobile internet services will be available in UT J&K and Ladakh starting this evening.”
On May 9, four people were arrested in Gujarat for distributing a false tweet regarding the health of Interior Minister Amit Shah.
