Kargil Vijay Diwas 2020: Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh today paid tribute to the soldiers who gave their lives for the country during the Kargil War in 1999. In his message, the Defense Minister wrote on Twitter: “Honors fallen soldiers of the Indian armed forces who exhibited exemplary bravery and supreme sacrifice during the Kargil War. “

Alongside Rajnath Singh, Minister of State for Defense Shripad Naik, Chief of Defense Staff, General Bipin Rawat, Chief General of the Army MM Naravane, Chief Marshal of the Air RKS Bhadauria and Chief Navy Admiral Karambir Singh also paid tribute to Amar Jawan Jyoti – the national war. India celebrates Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26. 21 years ago, the Indian army took over all Indian posts in Kargil that had been occupied by Pakistani infiltrators.
