In a relief to SpiceJet, the Supreme Court on Friday in its interim order suspended an order from the Delhi High Court to file Rs 243 crore regarding the share transfer dispute with its former promoter Kalanithi Maran.

Spice Jet had appealed to the Supreme Court against the Delhi High Court order, which asked the airline to file an additional Rs 243 crore.

A bench of three Supreme Court judges, headed by Chief Justice of India Sharad Arvind Bobde, and comprising Justices AS Bopanna and V Ramasubramanian, adopted the interim order.
