Actor Sonu Sood, who celebrated his 47th birthday on Thursday, took a spot on the trend list on Friday after sharing a major blast from the past. The actor shared a photo of himself from 1997 – he came to Mumbai to become an actor around the same time But more on that later. The photograph shows Sonu Sood, who is now one of Bollywood’s fittest actors, sporting a skinny look. He can be seen wearing a denim shirt and jeans. Going through the flashback and recent photos of Sonu Sood, it can be said that the actor has undergone a major physical transformation since the moment he began his journey in the entertainment industry.

Sharing the comeback photo, Sonu Sood wrote: “And I dared to be an actor.” Reacting to his post, filmmaker Farah Khan, who directed Sonu in the 2014 film Happy New Year, dropped a ROFL comment. “Lean and hungry look,” she wrote.

Sonu Sood, recently in an interview with India time, revealed he spent his birthday sitting alone on a bridge in Lokhandwala when he arrived in Mumbai. “I remember when I first came to Mumbai (and I came on July 25 or 26 1st time in 1997/98). On July 30, I didn’t know a single soul in the city and there was no one there to wish me. I was sitting on a bridge in Lokhandwala alone in the middle of the night, ”he told the publication.

Sonu Sood, who has appeared in a number of films in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil, made his acting debut with the 1999 Tamil film Kallazhagar. He ventured into Bollywood with the 2002 film Shaheed-E-Azam. He mostly played villainous roles in his films. Sonu Sood is best known for his performances in films like Dabangg, Yuva, Athadu, Jodhaa Akbar, Dookudu, shootout in Wadala, happy new year and Simmba, among many others.
