“The people of Bihar are with the Mahagathbandhan Congress and this is the call of Bihar,” she added.
Sonia Gandhi alleged that the governments of Delhi and Bihar brought demonetization, foreclosure, economic shutdown and job shutdowns and called on the people of the state to build a ‘new Bihar’ for the next generation and harvest.
“The time has come to introduce change in the state,” she said, noting that governments cannot be trained on fear and crime.
Voting for the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections will take place on Wednesday with 71 constituencies voting in six districts, including some of the Maoist-affected areas.
The second and third phase of the ballot will take place on November 3 and 7 and the counting on November 10.
