New Delhi:

After a day assaulted on social networks, Sonam Kapoor shared her personal solution to “promote peace in the world” – a photo of her with her family, which she captioned with a quote attributed to Mother Teresa: “What can you do to promote peace in the world? Go home and love your family.” Mother Teresa didn’t really say that, but the feeling is what she would surely have approved of. The photo published by Sonam is a family portrait of his parents, Anil and Sunita Kapoor, her husband Anand Ahuja, her brothers and sisters Rhea and Harshvardhan, and Rhea’s boyfriend, Karan Boolani. In another article, Sonam Kapoor thanked her husband Anand Ahuja for “being very kind and loving today”, adding that she needed it.

For those who wonder why she currently needs world peace, Sonam Kapoor is attacked on Twitter after plunging into the eruption of social media after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. the Chhichhore star found dead at home on Sunday and police say suicide. Rajput’s death sparked anger online, much of which focused on allegations that powerful Bollywood banners and camps have alienated the actor despite his obvious talent and numerous blockbuster movies. Filmmaker Karan Johar and actress Alia Bhatt were named in the tweets for disdainfully speaking about Mr. Rajput on the show Koffee with Karan. Politician Sanjay Nirupam, who attended Sushant Singh Rajput’s funeral on Monday, alleged that the actor had signed seven films after his 2019 hit Chhichhore and lost the seven in six months.

Monday evening, Sonam Kapoor tweeted, “Blaming a girlfriend, ex-girlfriend, family, coworkers for someone’s death is ignorant and crappy.” The tweet was not well received, with responses citing creeping patronage in the film industry.

The death of Sushant Singh Rajput also sparked criticism of the inner workings of Bollywood from a handful of voices in the industry, including actors Ranvir Shorey, Nikhil Dwivedi and Vivek Oberoi, and filmmakers Abhinav Sinha and Shekhar Kapur.
