Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, who directed the 1983 film Masoom, has a casting recommendation for anyone interested in following the film. In case you’re wondering if Mr. Kapur’s message was a cryptic clue from the rest of the movie, you could be wrong. “No, I do not intend to follow up on Masoom,” the Mr india director wrote in his post. On Tuesday, Shekhar Kapur published a family portrait of Jugal Hansraj, who played the role of one of the film’s child artists, with his son and his wife. Sharing the photo, Shekhar Kapur wrote: “Anyone looking to follow up on Masoom, need not look any further for the casting! Even cuter than Jugal Hansraj Masoom, is his wife Jasmine and the son of Jugal Sidak. What a beautiful family. They live happily in New York. And no, I do not intend to follow up on Masoom. “

Later in the post, the director recalled how much it had taken him months to convince Jugal to star in his film.
