In a strange incident, a man wrote a letter to Prime Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, asking the latter to appoint him minister to the cabinet of the state, or to release 14 other ministers who are not yet part of the legislature of the ‘State.

The man, Balchand Verma, through a letter claimed that in the expansion of Mr. Chouhan’s office, “14 of these ministers have been sworn in who are not even members of the current Vidhan Sabha and are ordinary citizens Prior to that, between 2013 and 2018 also during your tenure as CM, five people, who were not members of the Vidhan Sabha, were appointed ministers. “

Verma therefore urged the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh to induct him into his office and assign him a portfolio within three days of receiving the letter.

He further stated that he was not interested in taking the salary accorded to ministers if he entered Cabinet.

Verma also urges the chief minister to remove the 14 ministers from his cabinet if he is not included.

Ultimately, the letter threatens that the chief minister would be responsible for anything that might happen in the future if neither of the two conditions were met.

Twenty-eight ministers, who joined the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in Madhya Pradesh, received the oath of office and secrecy from Governor Anandiben Patel to Raj Bhawan in Bhopal on July 2.

This includes the second cabinet expansion since Chief Minister Chouhan returned to head of state affairs on March 23. He had previously inducted only five ministers into cabinet in April.
