On Guru Purnima, Ishaan Khatter treated us to a major explosion of the past, with his brother Shahid Kapoor. Ishaan, who paid tribute to his mentors, who guided the forces of his life, on Guru Purnima, shared the photo back with a legend in pure gold. “My pillar to lean on,” he wrote for Shahid Kapoor. In memory of the return, a much younger Shahid can be seen reading a newspaper with a baby version of Ishaan Khatter on his lap. In another Instagram story, Ishaan Khatter dedicated this note to Shahid: “Bhai, who showed me by example the value of persistence, hard work and patience.”

Shahid Kapoor’s birthday in February, Ishaan wished Shaandaar actor with some original photos and this anniversary note: “OG Mere bade miyan. Happy birthday, Bhaijaan.”
Ishaan Khatter was born to Rajesh Khattar and his first wife Neelima Azeem in 1995. Neelima Azeem was previously married to Pankaj Kapur. Shahid Kapoor is the son of Neelima Azeem with Pankaj Kapur, who is now married to Supriya Pathak.
Ishaan Khatter made his acting debut with the 2017 film Beyond the clouds, directed by Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi. He then entered Bollywood with Dhadak in 2018, which marked the start of Sridevi’s daughter, Janhvi Kapoor. Ishaan had a flashing cameo in Shahid’s film in 2016 Udta Punjab. Ishaan has two films in the lineup – Khaali Peeli with Ananya Panday and Mira Nair’s A suitable boy, with Tabu.
